Looks like it has lost the hot, bright Mediterranean summer vacation look of the original, and the FMV scenes are replaced with badly modelled 3D, like the Myst remake. Cyan has never been good at character modelling. Original Riven was - and after looking at this version still is - my favourite game of all time.

Awesome, gg! But I still don't know what determines whether you can talk with a dragon after using rain. It never worked for me during a run, only on some saves. Did you have to make many attempts at this?

Wow, Verdammt Geiler Run, ich seh da sind ein paar vermischte strats noch von meinen versuche drin, aber die strats sind echt nice :D Die Hovers allgemein wie bei Milgar sind sehen sehr save aus und nice. Am ende und der katapult zum schiff leider sehr unlucky gewesen. Wieviel versuche sind an den Steindrachen geripped? Und wieviel Stunden haste da investiert in den run?

How?! I played this back in the late 90's (I'm 33 now) and I found it extremely difficult, I never even got one Ixupi into its corresponding vessel. The music and atmosphere are great, I'd love to see a remake of this game.

I just finished watching the first play playthrough (not a speedrun) of someone here on youtube, and his code was: 1, 2, 10, 11, 16 That'd be a nice code for a speedrun, he only had to move 3 of the 5 thingies, and even then the 3rd one is just a quick bump against the "11"

This is one of my favourite retro games of all time. It's great to see people speed running it, amazing run!

When I first played this years ago, I also finished it in 5:07...as in 5 months and 7 or so days, and by finished I mean I didn't finish it in that time.

When you're so fast that the audio cues can't disengage. Great run, that puzzle room had me leaning forward in the chair

Did this require a saved game? Somewhere I read that the telescope code wasn’t generated until it was first revealed, and therefore that this shortcut should in fact be impossible.
